Close Joint-Stock Company "Karat" machine is specialized in manufacturing of big variety of machineries and machine tools for mining and machining of natural stones (granite,basalt,marble ,tuff,etc).

Enterprise was established in 1959 in Gumri and gone by the name of "Strommachina" until 1992. Enterprise went by the present name since 2002. Factory has long-standing traditions. During Soviet period it produced more than 20 machineries and machine -tools, which had been sold not only in the territory of former USSR, but in foreign countries as well, such as Bulgaria, Roumania, Greece, India, Egypt, Yugoslavia,etc. In the most complicated conditions the exploitation of machineries presented themselves as highly reliable and are exceptionally simple in operation.Machineries and machine-tools permanently are being modernized taking into consideration observations and remarks of customers .

Products of our enterprise have high technical-exploitation indices, are easily assembled and deassembled. Machine-tools are adjusted for manual and automatic regimes of work.
